It’s weird when
the elevator door
opens and there
is nobody waiting
there, so, I just
assume a ghost
has entered, and
say,
“Welcome aboard!”
going down

You eat out a lot. That looks good. I’m jealous. Or just hungry.

I always see my dog look in a direction as though the dog is listening and seeing spirit
She sit in this one place,to me it’s out of place, but maybe it’s the origin of the spirit

I find elevators spooky at the best of times. Hey, I grew up in Redlands, California. Ever been there?

I don’t think I’ve ever been to Redlands, Belle. If I do, what would you recommend me seeing?

Oh, it’s a sleepy little town, not much to see. I remember visiting a memorial to Abraham Lincoln somewhere in a park. I admired him when I was just a young girl. My favorite place was the library, where I would pore over old copies of Life magazine. My favorite years were the 1940s.

Me, too, except it was my grandmother’s garage — stacks & stacks of life magazines. I poured over each issue a dozen times or more. Esp. Life goes to the Movies. I knew of Chaplin, Keaton, &c. only from still photos. There were no videos stores, yet.
