I used to have a

crush on a girl

named, Sincerely.

Then, one day,

she moved away,

So, I wrote her a letter,

It began,

“Dear Sincerely,

George.

***

It was a very short letter.

***

P.S. I want to tell you

what is in my heart

but I keep running out of room

And then,

at the bottom of the letter,

I added a bunch of X’s and O’s.

saying,

“This is what

tic-tac-toe

looks like

without the

number sign.”

    My Featured Blogger this week is George Raymond of the exceedingly quirky blog site Trefology. At least I think it is. That’s because it’s difficult–no make that outright futile–to get a straightforward answer out of this fine fellow. On the other hand, it’s extremely easy to get a smile, a chuckle, and even an outright guffaw out of his humorous verses. Could he be Ogden Nash’s long-lost nephew? We’ll never know.
    So that will have to.
    Do, that is, do.
    No, make that suffice.
    Which is just as nice.
