I must be too nice.
Because, I know
that even if I was
bitten by
a rattle-snake,
I could never stay mad
at the snake
for very long.

A clever soul near here picked up a grass snake to have a closer look. Strangely he ended up in hospital. What was reassuring that all the press and everyone who talked about it basically said ‘good on the snake’ and ‘what a muppet’.

I know that even if I were bitten by a black mamba, I could never stay mad at it for very long. Instead, I’d take my anger to an early grave.

That is truly nice. Reminded me of when our granddaughter was two and her barometer for niceness was how one treated ants.

You may be surprised at exactly how long you could be mad at that snake. Every one still hates the one that was responsible for the apple bite.

Was it a snake in the tree in the Adam & Eve story?! All this time I thought it was an owl wearing a graduation hat.

We have common ground tref but I would have to say that I would be pissed off for a long time unless I was a long way from medical help and couldnt perform my own first aid.

I feel the same way. Only creatures I can stay mad at are certain villainous, amoral, cruel humans. 😳
