  1. I wouldn’t take it personally if I were you (or even if I were me). Worms would seemingly rather be squished than drowned….but if I were in the same boat, I’d wonder why the rain don’t float my boat.

    • Funny enough, the unexpected & unwanted appearance of a slug was something that seemed to happen a lot when I was kid. Maybe because we lived in the mountains, and maybe too, because the name of our town was Slug-town, but I don’t think I have seen a slug since maybe age eight. I guess they are not too common in East Hollywood.

      • No they like the damp and moisture. EH would probably be for the grasshopper cousins. I have been running into all sorts of slug species in my journeys. I guess my mountain settings prove out your experience as a kid.
