Growing up,
my mom would
buy me these
nutrition sticks.
***
The ad said, “It’s what astronauts eat”
And that was good enough for me.
***
But — they discontinued
that product a long time ago,
***
and yet, there are still astronauts.
***
Which leads me to my question,
Are we feeding them or what?
.2.
I’ve had those snacks too. Must’ve expired a long time ago 😂😅

Funny thing, I didn’t even like them, but each time I saw them, I wanted them; because, hey, the astronauts! Also they looked cool.

I did find them too heavy. One was enough to fill the tummy

but that’s what they eat! it’s like fish food, fish eat it because it’s right there in the name. Thanks, Sushmita.

I don’t remember those but I remember drinking Tang because, “what the astronauts drink”. I think it is still around. Probably from the same batch back then.

Tang was verboten in our household, but that never stopped me from asking for it. Years later in college I roomed with a guy who only drank tang once a week — when he watched Saturday morning cartoons. Tang is a cartoon drink if there ever was one.

That is the perfect description of Tang. A cartoon drink.

:D Maybe you should establish “The Trefology Invite an Astronaut to Lunch Day”. It would be out of this world!

I ate the Space Sticks. I drank the Tang. I didn’t make it to NASA. I want a refund.

We had an opportunity to produce Oumuamua space sticks, but the opportunity passed us by.

Could be NASA has a secret giant storage unit of nutrition sticks, and one day I mean to find it! Thanks, B

Maybe the answer to your question is, Yes, we are feeding them Mars bars.

Starbursts and Big Dippers of homemade chicken soup – perfectly OK to groan. :)

Astronauts in First Class get Big Dippers of Branson & Bezos Betel Juice. For an extra energy blast, Musk’s Big Bang Kool-Aid.

I hope astronauts love sweets, because that’s what they’re getting.

What’s is that sandwich? Im looking for ideas for treat day this week. My stomach is grumbling looking at you holding that thing of beauty.

Haha nothing that special, cb. A bacon, gouda egg sandwich from Starbucks.

Wait a minute.
There were nutrition sticks that astronauts ate that were available on earth? How come I didn’t know about this?! Am feeling supremely ripped off right now.

I totally get it. My guess is that they are available on a planet for a brief amount of time before moving onto another planet. Only the Pillsbury company knows for sure, but if it’s done alphabetically, right now there is a chance you can find them on Neptune.
