I had a dream I
was back in the
fourth grade, and
everyone was
laughing at me.
***
I was standing in
the classroom,
in my under-pants.
***
And I wondered
how I failed to
notice this earlier.
***
Was I wearing
shoes and socks?
Yes!
***
But why was I wearing
them on my hands?!!
And who tied them?!
***
Then, the teacher comes in
and says
“It’s time for the big test!
***
“Big test?!” I said,
I forgot to study!
***
Then the teacher
exploded into a
thousand bats!
***
And then I woke up.
***
Covered in sweat.
***
And was I like,
Whew! Yeh,
***
I remember that day.
O Lordy! That is one bizarre subconscious world you reside in, Geo — and thanks to the god Gelos that you do!

She did at that, David. Thanks!

LOL :D Very lucky that the teacher morphed into bats! It would have been so difficult to write the test answers wearing shoes on your hands.

And who tied the laces, anyway?! Thanks, MM

Leplin? Wasn’t that the name of Bruce Wayne’s fourth-grade teacher at Gotham Prep?

I often wonder what became of Ms. Leplin. I know everyone seems old when you are that age, but Ms. Leplin seemed very, very old. I hope all her days were good ones. And as to Batman, Ms. Leplin would have probably been pretty old back then, too. Thanks, E. Sum

All my childhood dreams were blurry when I woke up I didn’t remember them. Even now, my dreams were all jumbled pieces I cannot pinpoint what they were about!

I understand, it has been a long time since I fully recalled a dream. I miss the nightmares. I always had interesting ones. Thanks, B.

Those bad dreams can persist, though. I still have nightmares that I’m at UCLA and I’m either in the wrong class, late for class, or didn’t sign up for the right class, and therefore will be unable to graduate, lol
