  1. If cheese-rolling comes to the streets, George, I hope to be consious enough to thank you for your prescient advice. In the BBC’s coverage (https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-gloucestershire-65748124) of the 2023 Cheese-Rolling Competition, I saw that the womens’ champion was knocked unconscious when she landed across the finish line on her head. The champion of the men’s race said he was lucky to be conscious and not too badly banged up.

    • Thank you for both comments (“crackers” is hilarious, Pam) and let me extend my sincerest apologies, as well, for the grammatical error (it’s its, not it’s — now fixed). I thought for certain my post would have a red mark on it when I woke this morning. I am so embarrassed.

  2. I’ll take notice of your warning at
the very next cheese 🧀 and wine 🍷
tasting. The last time I attended one
    I was knocked into unconsciousness🤕
by a bottle of red that almost left me
dead ☠️ with the cheese claiming
complete innocence. It’s not the first
    time that’s happened … but who’s
    counting?! 😎
