Honestly, this is sorta the way I have to shop for shoes. I have big feet, so I ask what they have in my size before I find one I like that’s not available in my size.
Okay, more honestly, I haven’t been inside a shoe store for more than a decade. Internet, baby!
I have a hard time shopping for shoes, too, but only because I don’t like the new styles. My last pair of shoes were electrician safety shoes. I discovered them in the back of a discount shoe-store, covered in dust. I found my size, brought them to the counter and the clerk made a face and said, “You want these?!”. Haha. But going through this blog I can see in the photos how that one pair lasted me years and years. Thanks, FW
I bought a pair of shoes recently and had to take them back as they were too tight. I showed the assistant in the shop and she said “They’re tight ‘cos you have them on the wrong feet!” to which I replied “No….these are the only feet I’ve got””
And….
There was a young man from Carew,
Whose feet took a 22 shoe,
Whilst away on a camp, the weather turned damp
So he used his shoes as canoes!
Haha! Good response !

Great marketing concept, Geo. The Easy-Going-Guys-Shoe Store. One-Size-Fits-All

I would prefer a one-size-fits-George store. Everyone-else can shop else-where. Thanks, E Sum!

Totally conceivable My husband bought a pair of wide “clown” shoes for his narrow feet that were way too big for him-but they were comfortable. :)

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe. She had so many children, she wished she’d asked the shoe store manager for a much larger size.

A wise man once said, “You can never really know an old woman until you live in her shoe.” Thanks, David!

Sorry for the lateness of my comment. I was busy sorting my shoes by size.
