I remember when I first saw ee cummings in school. I wasn’t sure if he was trying to “break the mold” or had some deeper reason for the lower case letters…….

From the movie, The Mirror Crack’d “What does ‘The End’ mean? I don’t know but it sure looks good up there on the big screen.” I imagine you can ascribe a hundred meanings to the lower-case style of e.e. and they will all be correct, but hey, it looks great and stands out in any book of poems.
