  1. Those little tweety birds, George, could be “conks.” They were thought to have gone extinct with hand-painted animation, but are infinitely patient. Conks are content to lay low indefinitely, on low branches and fastball pitches, etc, waiting to build a nest on the conked head of a tall storyteller. It is a a rare privilege to be conked by a conk. Keep your head up for congratulations.

    • I am only grateful it wasn’t a falling piano. On the other hand, bumping my head as I exit a car is such a common occurrence for me my gf suggested I wear a hard hat. I’m not even that tall. I am just that bad at spatial reasoning. Thanks, E Sum

  2. (1) I always follow Head Tales. One blogger I bumped into told me I was a talegater, but I’ve never followed a gator tail. In fact, I’ve never been anywhere near a swamp!
    (2) Who coined the term Head Tales? I bet it was you!
    (3) Birds no longer tweet. They X.
