Sometimes I like
to stroll through
graveyards with
a notebook, writing
down the names of
people I might
want to hang out
with— someday.

Best friends are named in a pet cemetery. In a graveyard, it must be hard to tell which ones would want to hang out with you.

Everyone’s got a story. I just want to hear a few of the really old ones. Thanks, E Sum.

It’s a grave matter to think about future friendships in this regard.

Graveyards are a happening place. People are just dying to . . . nah, not going there: low-hanging fruit.

Well, you don’t want to hang out down there. You want to hang out up there. :)

If anyone can wake the dead, it would be you. I imagine you will be the life of that party in the afterworld!

That’s deep, eerie, and strangely poetic. Death makes us reflect on life.

Just the other week my sister and I passed a cemetery near Placerville, CA. Of course, we had to stop. Many of the graves were marked only ‘Pioneer,’ their names long forgotten. But we made sure to greet as many as we could. You never know — they may appreciate it. Thanks, SS
