Actually, there is a mountain of evidence that what we think are wormholes are actually mole-holes. Moles are alien spies from an advanced civilization that tunnel through space and time in order to conduct covert operations on inhabited planets in galaxies such as the Milky Way. As for worms, they just dig into planets (a process which scientists call global worming).
