Why do people
always ask
me to
sit down
before
telling me
bad news?
***
What if the
bad news
is that
my favorite
chair
has is broken?
***
Sitting, then,
would …
just make me
feel worse

Sitting down in a broken chair is actually a ground floor opportunity.

Alas, we must all start someplace

True. That would be adding insult to injury. More so if you sat without looking, fell on the floor, and hurt yourself.

I could seriously injure myself

Hey David — I wanted to get in touch and ask how you were doing, but I couldn’t find a link other than just posting a comment, but I hope this finds you doing well and being properly isolated.

Been very ill, but getting better, hence my lack of blogging activity. I hope that you are well.

Priceless treffing. And a priceless founder pic too. They say a picture is worth a thousand words… in your picture I see an additional three pictures, making it a top value 4K words! Stay sunny and well :)

Thanks, VTA. I hope you’re staying isolated and safe! There is a actually theme in the three pictures. I was hoping somebody might notice, but maybe on my next post I will make it a challenge to go back and figure it out.

All okay here so far thanks. Good play on the pics! Can’t see a connection just yet.

I have never understood why people respond to being told to sit down respond defiantly and refuse to sit. Will that make the news any easier to take? Will it make the news different somehow? Perhaps if they stay standing it will be happy news, because who would tell them bad news while standing? I think I should figure which is my favourite chair and sit in it for the duration.

That’s true. Nobody has ever said, I have some good news. Are you standing up?

I hope you are sitting down. Great photo! A Rembrandt portrait (although now it’s attributed to “someone in his circle” according to Wikipedia), a photo of your parents (?) and a seascape with a sailboat. I don’t know the connection so I’m eagerly awaiting the answer :)

I keep forgetting to post the question. Fake Rembrandt (allegedly), fake painting (paint by numbers), fake family photo (Mr. Drysdale and Jane Hathaway of the Beverly Hillbillies), fake pipe (or no pipe at all)

Hilarious! I thought that might be a paint by numbers but I wasn’t sure. Now I must sit down! :D

I almost did an embarrassing snort-laugh when I read this one.

An almost snort laugh is all I have ever asked for, so thanks. Funny enough, I was on your blog no more than five minutes ago looking for an update.
