I always keep
my pockets
full of posey,
so, if a cop ever
asks me to
empty my pockets,
he’ll think I have
the plague
Without
contractions

I was only half right! I just Googled it and found that the posies were the herbs carried to ward off the smell of the plague. The rosy rash was a symptom of the disease.

Cops loves nursery rhymes! Fat cops, skinny cops, cops that climb on rocks … all of ’em.
