I guess the term “Heimlich maneuver” has been replaced by “abdominal thrust.” To me, that sounds like something you’d read in a sex manual.

I had to perform the “Me Maneuver” awhile back. Not kidding. I doubted but now am a believer.

Funny how things learned (and doubted) way back and never applied come into play. Maybe some of the old dance steps will come back so I can impress.

I once popped a peanut M&M into my mouth while alone working late at the office, and realized I was choking. In a panic, I heimliched myself, while forcefully yelling HAH and the M&M shot out like a projectile. Once performed it on another who was choking on shellfish. I understand the Heimlich estate is not open to having the name associated with the move anymore?
