I once
ran away
to join
the
circus

only to have

the circus
run away
to join
my family

So, then
I tried
to join
my
family, too

but mom
had
all ready
given my
room
to the
bearded lady.

I have found that any woman of a certain age can be the bearded lady. It’s not a unique enough event to give her her own room.

It’s all right. I didn’t mind the couch. Plus it meant I got to be in the same room as the TV. Thanks, SPP

When it comes to the circus, the saying goes that “what goes around, comes around.” In your case, that rings true.

The circus also had the bearded man, but he was not as popular. Thanks, Bob

It was indeed, as well the clown van, the clown atv, the clown pick-up truck, the clown recreational vehicle; and they were all parked in front of our house. Thanks, MM
